On RHEL 6, DB2 install/uninstall may fail with minor error due
to being unable to stop the DB2 fault monitor. The following
error message is logged:
Stopping DB2 Fault Monitor :.......Failure
Furthermore, the following error message is seen in the
install/uninstall trace file:
ERROR: Error stopping the service: initctl command failed with
rc=256 |
