DB2FLSN IMPROVEMENTS FOR READ LOG API (I.E. RETURN LRI) |

| Problem description: |
type 2. Type 1 consists of a LFS/LSN pair whereas the second
consists of a log stream ID / LSO pair. There are scenarios
where a customer may want to start a read log API scan in a
particular log file (as opposed to querying for the current
'start of log' LRI position). In the past this was typically
done utilising the db2flsn tool which can map a log number to a
LSN. But as a LSN value alone is no longer sufficient and given
there is no procedure to covert a LSN to a LSO, it can be
difficult to build the starting LRI. To remedy this a new
option to db2flsn will be added to return an LRI (type 1) value |
