RUNSTATS WITH SAMPLING INACCURATE ON RANGE PARTITION TABLE WITH EMPTY PARTITIONS |

| Problem description: |
RUNSTATS reports inaccurate table cardinality when:
- runstats with page sampling on both table and indexes, and
indexs have equal or higher sampling rate than the table
- the table is a range partitioned table, with partitioned
indexes
- the table has a lot of very small or empty partitions: on
these partitions, the partitioned index has only 1 page.
- the table has some medium or large partitions: on these
partitions, the partitioned index has more than 1 pages. |
