When running the INGEST command using DS Driver with the database not cataloged in the database directory, the command will succeed but will report messages SQL1057W or SQL1031N. SQLSTATE=58031 SQL2979I The ingest utility is starting at "16/06/2016 14:17:52.487089". SQL2914I The ingest utility has started the following ingest job: "DB21005:20160616.141752.487089:00003:00005". Number of rows read = 42 Number of rows inserted = 42 Number of rows rejected = 0 SQL2902I The ingest utility completed at timestamp "16/06/2016 14:17:58.810684". Number of errors: "1". Number of warnings: "0". [db2inst2@db2r105test ?]$ echo $? 4 or: [db2inst2@db2r105test ?]$ db2 "ingest from file employee.del format delimited by ',' insert into testemp" SQL1057W The system database directory is empty.
