Problem description: | |
This was first noted in V97 fixpack 11 due to a recent code change and also affects v10.1 FP5 and v10.5 FP7 . During an invocation of a command or series of commands via the CLP (Command line process) running in the background under a nohup. If the parent shell exits, at the end of the invocation when it returns to the calling shell it can return a DB21018E and exit. This only happens of the parent shell that issued the command via nohup subsequently exits. | |
