DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT16408 Status: Closed

DYNAMIC SQL SNAPSHOT MAY FAIL WITH SQL1224N WHEN CLIENT AND SERVER USE
DIFFERENT CODEPAGE

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description:
When the codepages used in the client and the server are
different (e.g. database:943, client:1208), dynamic sql snapshot
may fail with SQL1224N.

This failure occurs because the snapshot output buffer is found
to be too small during codepage conversion of char strings in
the snapshot output (because the converted char strings take
up more space in the client codepage compared to the database
codepage).
