DB2 - Problem description

IN DPF ENV, USER WITH APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES RECIEVES ERROR SQL6048N
COMMUNICATION ERROR ON UPDATE DBM CFG

Problem description:
In a DPF env, a user with appropriate authorities (but not root 
or the instance owner) receives error SQL6048N Communication 
error on update dbm cfg if the hostname is not used in the 
db2nodes.cfg.  (example: db2nodes.cfg uses virtual IP addresses 
instead)
