DB2 - Problem description
Problem IT19187 | Status: Closed |
DB2 WILL TRAP IF THE SUBTRANSACTION WORKS ON A TABLESPACE WITH ID > 4096
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
It is possible that the subtransaction works on a tablespace with ID > 4096 and in that case the subtransaction will allocate a second dirty pool bitmaps, but the main transaction does not, that is, the main transaction has NULL pointer for this dirty pool bitmaps. When we merge dirty pool bitmaps of subtransactions into the main transaction, this will cause a trap.
