If you have an application that connects to a DB2 server through a gateway, your application may fail with the following error if one of your query is interrupted by a SQLCancel(). SQL30020N Execution of the command or SQL statement failed because of a syntax error in the communication data stream that will affect the successful execution of subsequent commands and SQL statements: Reason Code "0x124C"("0100")"". SQLSTATE=58009 In your db2diag.log, you can also see this error message : FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, DRDA Communication Manager, sqljcReadDssHdr, probe:20 MESSAGE : ZRC=0x8036008D=-2143944563=SQLJC_ERROR_SYNTAX "SYNTAX ERROR" This error happens when DRDA layer sends two buffers to IPC but only one is received after the client interrupts the connection while waiting a reply from the server. | |
