DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2

DB2 installation (via db2setup or db2_install) might fail to
install TSAMP component if one of the prerequisites for TSAMP is
not met.
Following message will be included in the installation log:

"/download/image/db2/linuxamd64/tsamp/installSAM --silent -l
/tmp/installSAM.0000.log".
WARNING: DBI20105E  An error occurred while installing the

"TSAMP". Because these files were not successfully installed,
functionality
that depends on these files might not work as expected.

TSAMP install log file will contain a warning related to a
missing prerequisite, e.g.:
/tmp/installSAM.0000.log:
prereqSAM: Using default prerequisite checking on the following
rpm package:  'glibc-locale-32bit' 'x86_64'
prereqSAM: Error: The following rpm package is not installed:
'glibc-locale-32bit' 'x86_64'
or:
prereqSAM: Error: The following rpm package is not installed:
'perl-Sys-Syslog'

Db2prereqcheck doesn't verify the prerequisites for TSAMP and
this APAR is intended to address this limitation

Verify the prerequisites for TSAMP before installing DB2 if
