Problem description: | |
On Windows platform, a silent installation using a response file may fail to update SYSCTRL_GROUP configuration even though the installation client log shows successful setup of SYSCTRL_GROUP dbm cfg parameter: From "client.log" 1: The instance "DB2" has been created successfully. 1: The value "JAVA_HEAP_SZ=4096" was set in the DBM CFG file for the "DB2" instance. 1: The value "SVCENAME=db2c_DB2" was set in the DBM CFG file for the "DB2" instance. 1: The value "SYSCTRL_GROUP=ADMINGRP" was set in the DBM CFG file for the "DB2" instance. This issue might affect other authority groups such as SYSADM_GROUP, SYSMAINT_GROUP, and SYSMON_GROUP as well. | |
