DB2 - Problem description

SQL5190I HIT WHEN UPDATING DIAGPATH OR ALT_DIAGPATH TO NON-GPFS FILESYSTEM

Problem description:
Changing the DIAGPATH or ALT_DIAGPATH to a non-GPFS filesystem 
returns 
SQL5190I, and the DIAGPATH or ALT_DIAGPATH is 
not changed. 
 
The following errors will be seen in the db2diag.log:

Local Fix:
In order to workaround this, do the following: 
 
1. export DB2_ROCM_DISABLE_FS_CHECK=TRUE 
2. Update the DIAG_PATH 
3. Unset DB2_ROCM_DISABLE_FS_CHECK after the update is complete

Solution
Problem was first fixed in DB2 UDB Version 11.1 Mod Pack 3 Fix 
Pack 3.
