Problem IT22684 | Status: Closed |
SQL STATEMENTS EXECUTING AN INDEX SCAN WITH INTRA-PARTITION PARALLELISM ENABLED MIGHT RUN SLOW
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description: | |
SQL statements executing an index scan with intra-partition parallelism enabled might run slower than necessary in Db2 version 11.1.2.2. This only happens when an exclusive start key is specified such that the key does not exist in the index and is greater than or smaller than all the keys in the index. If db2trc is used to capture information about the SQL statement, it will show that the entire scan is being performed by a single sub-agent. The other sub-agents will call sqliGetNxtRng and get SQLI_EOF.
