DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT24445 Status: Closed

IF ONE OF THE PORTS IS DOWN ON A MEMBER, EVEN IF THERE IS ANOTHER
FUNCTIONING PORT, DB2START MAY TIMEOUT.

Problem description:
The following errors may be seen in db2diag.log indicating a
db2start timeout on the member. This may occur in the case where
:
- the customer has a mutliple roce setup
- one of the ports is down
- there is another functioning port on the member.
