When the record is update using "$set" for example: nosql>db.IBM_TEST4.update({UserID: "test-user"}, {"$set":{"Score":"30"}}) The above will update the score with NULL, in wrong format. No error is returned to the application. Later on select: nosql>db.IBM_TEST4.find({UserID:"test-user"}) You will get an error such as: Error details: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: bad data. lengths don't match read:xx != len:xx | |
