DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT25936 Status: Closed

SPECTRUM PROTECT SNAPSHOT OFFLOAD BACKUPS FAIL WITH FMM2001E SOCKET ERROR
WHILE CONNECTING TO ACSD AT

product:
FLSHCPY DB2 AGE / 5608AC6DB / 81A - DB2
Problem description:
After a change in the ACSD portion of the Spectrum Protect
Snapshot profiles and recycling the ACS daemons, the tape_backup
fails with FMM2001E Socket error while connecting to acsd at

SPS ignores the change in port number and reverts back to the
default ACSD port. This only affects offload backups to the
Spectrum Protect server AND only when switching to a non-default
acsd port number AND only in clustered DB2 PureScale or Oracle
RAC. Other operations such as flash backups or restore are
unaffected.
Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: All
Customer/L2 Diagnostics (If Applicable): Assume this is the
profile on the backup server:
>>> GLOBAL
ACS_DIR /home/fcmrr1/acs
ACSD shaggy 57329
# ENFORCE_TLS12 NO
TRACE YES
