When running a create table statement like the following on Linux PPC 64 big endien Db2 might trap: db2 "create table t1 (c1 int, c2 int) organize by column" It might as well as return the following error message: SQL0670N The statement failed because the row size of the resulting table would have exceeded the row size limit. Row size limit: "1". Table space name: "IBMDB2SAMPLEREL". Resulting row size: "8". SQLSTATE=54010 Columnar tables, also known as BLU tables, are not supported on Linux PPC 64 big endien but this is not checked appropriately. | |
