Problem IT26816 | Status: Closed |
DB2 ABEND DUE TO MEMORY CORRUPTION USING COLUMN BASED TABLES
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When queries are executed with a high degree of parallelism while accessing column based tables, a rare timing hole may result in memory corruption, causing DB2 to abend. While the trapping function stack may vary, the most common function stack observed is : diagnoseMemoryCorruptionAndCrash__13SQLO_MEM_POOLFUlCPCcCb sqloDiagnoseFreeBlockFailure__FP8SMemFBlkCb sqlofmblkEx freeMem__Q3_7ibm_cde8services4HeapFCPCcCUlPv freeHeap__Q3_7ibm_cde8services15ManagedHeapBaseFv __dt__Q3_7ibm_cde8services15ManagedHeapBaseFv __dt__Q3_7ibm_cde8services11ManagedHeapXTUcSP0_Fv __dt__Q3_7ibm_cde5query14QueryResourcesFv __dt__Q3_7ibm_cde5query9SchedulerFv cleanAndDeleteScheduler__Q3_7ibm_cde5query9SchedulerFPQ3_7ibm_cd e5query9Scheduler
