DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT27292 Status: Closed

DBM CFG PARAMETER ASLHEAPSZ DEPENDS ON RULE "QUERY_HEAP_SZ >= ASLHEAPSZ"

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B10 - DB2
Problem description:
Parameter query_heap_sz is deprecated in Version 9.5 and might
be removed in a future release. This parameter can still be used
in pre-Version 9.5 data servers and clients. In Version 9.5 and
later releases, the value specified for this configuration
parameter is ignored.

However, trying to increase parameter aslheapsz in a Db2 10.5
you get:

db2 update dbm cfg using aslheapsz 8192
SQL5153N The update cannot be completed because the following
relationship
would be violated: "query_heap_sz >= aslheapsz".

There is still an existing check rule left over.
