Problem IT35993 | Status: Closed |
ROLLFORWARD RECOVERY COULD FAIL WITH SQLD_REC_DELETED WHEN REDOING A FAILED CLASSIC TABLE REORG
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
If a classic reorg on a table that is reclustering data does not complete successfully and rows are subsequently deleted from the table, the pages with deleted records could be included in a future online backup image. If the backup image is restored and rollforward was performed where the reorg was replayed, it is possible that the rollforward will fail with SQLD_REC_DELETED. The following will be found in the db2diag.log --------------------------------------------------- FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, data management, sqldomRedo, probe:1795 RETCODE : ZRC=0x8704007A=-2029780870=SQLD_REC_DELETED "DELETED RECORD ID"
