NO WARNING MESSAGE WHEN DMS TABLESPACE CANNOT BE IMMEDIATELY EXTENDED WHILE AN ONLINE BACKUP IS IN PROGRESS

| Problem description: |
When an online backup is in progress on a table space with no
auto-resize capability, alter tablespace commands increasing the
table space in size as below will not get immediately extended
until the backup completes.
db2 alter tablespace [extend|resize]
However Users do not get any notification, message or warning on
running
the alter tablespace extend or resize commands to notify that
this
extension will not happen during this online backup.
Typically users have to enable autoresize on the tablespace
beforehand for
it to work if needed during an online backup. |
