INFORMIX CSDK OLE DB DRIVER CRASHES IN IFMXCONN.DLL IF SERVER VERSION LONGER THAN 14 CHARACTERS

For example 11.50.FC9W3XLGE; this is a patch of a released PID
of the Growth Edition.
11.50.FC9 - release #
W3 - PID #
XL - Patch #
GE - Growth addition.
When the OLE DB provider attempts to connect to this server, the
server sends a tcp message back that contains the version
information.
The OLE DB provider will read this message and crash. |
