Problem IT13968 | Status: Closed |
CDR ERRNO 49 (MAXIMUM NUMBER OF REPLICATES EXCEEDED) EVEN AFTER REPLICATES DELETED
product: | |
INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / B70 - IDS 11.70
Problem description: | |
Once you have hit the limit for replicates having participants on a given server (32k), you would not be able to define new replicates involving this server even after you have deleted old ones. Any new attempt would still run into: command failed -- maximum number of replicates exceeded (49) This problem persists until you stop and restart ER or the whole server. Only then you would be able to reuse the space gained by deleting old replicates. Note that this "maximum number of replicates" isn't really defined or described anywhere. In fact this particular 32k (32767) limit is the one for the number of replicate participants on a given server (minus some internal replicates auto-created by ER).
