ERROR CREATING THE RPM INSTALLER IN 32-BIT PRODUCT

| Problem description: |
An error is displayed when creating a RPM installer for 32-bit
Informix Online Dynamic Server.
When the following command is run for the install:
./ids_install -DDEBUG_LEVEL=9
-DLOG_FILE=/opt/informix/cisco/build_log -i silent -f
/opt/informix/informix-client.bundle.properties
In the build_log you will see:
2017-04-18 23:22:44 12229 11514 Native Install API successfully
initialized.
2017-04-18 23:22:44 12229 11514 Install API successfully
initialized.
2017-04-18 23:23:56 12229 11514 Creation of RPM Installer has
started.
2017-04-18 23:25:06 12229 11514 Error creating the RPM
Installer.
2017-04-18 23:25:06 12229 11514 Installation for Informix JDBC
Driver: Successful.
2017-04-18 23:25:06 12229 11514 Installation for Informix
Connect: Successful.
2017-04-18 23:25:06 12229 11514
/opt/informix/cisco12.10.UC8W1/rpmbuild.log
In the install directory (/opt/informix/12.10.UC8W1), you will
see no errors in any of the install logs except one.
In the IBM_Informix_Software_Bundle_Install_xxx.log you will see
only the following error:
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - Error
creating the RPM Installer.
The make_rpm.out file will show all the missing JDBC components. |
