| Problem description: |
When DELAY_APPLY is set on RSS and primary is restarted after
the logical log wrap, RSS doesn't reconnect to Primary and new
logical logs are not sent to the staging directory until
DELAY_APPLY is elapsed and logical logs from staging directory
are applied at RSS. Following message is seen in the RSS
online.log
14:45:31 SMX thread is exiting
14:45:34 RSS: Lost connection to pri_root
14:45:52 RSS: Reconnected to pri_root
14:45:52 RSS: Start failure recovery from tape ...
This behavior is NOT seen on 12.10.FC8. |
