SYNTAX ERROR -201 FOR REMOTE SQL CONTAINING DECODE/CASE EXPRESSION WITH PROJECTION/HOST VARIABLE REFERENCE

| Problem description: |
When in inner query with function within function uses synonym
of table from remote server as in below statement.
update t01 set col15=(
select decode(min(l2.col24), "",col15, min(l2.col24))
from t02 l2, t02 l1
where l1.col24=t01.col15 and
l1.col22=l2.col22 and l2.col03="FIG")
where col01="201905"
and col03="SET"
and col15 like "8*"
where the "t02 l2" is a synonym to a table on remote instance.
The result from this statement is "SQL Error (-201): A syntax
error has occurred." pointing to last character of SQL. |
