NON-ROOT INSTALLATIONS AND REMOTE SYSTEM COMMAND INSIDE A SPL ERRORS -668

| Problem description: |
There's a limitation with non-root installations and remote
SYSTEM command inside SPLs that needs remote user to have
execute access to the home directory of the "owner" user of
the non-root installation in order to run , and that poses a
security issue.
i.e.
If I do a non-root installation with following:
Group: dbusers
Users: dbowner, other_user < these users belong to dbusers
group
The installation is done by dbowner:dbusers, in order for
other_user to execute a SPL which includes SYSTEM inside, it'll
need to have /home/dbowner permissions to execute or will get
-668 error, as it can't be ran. |
