DB2 - Problem description
| Problem IC97011 | Status: Closed |
| MQT NOT CONSIDERED FOR REWRITE MATCHING IN INSENSITIVE SCROLLABLE CURSOR QUERIES | |
| product: | |
| DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2 | |
| Problem description: | |
| MQTs are not considered for rewrite matching in insensitive scrollable cursor queries. This may result in missed opportunities in performance optimization. NOTE: Retrieving result set of queries using scrollable cursors has performance overhead. Even with MQT routing, performance may not be as good as non-scrollable cursors queries. Scrollable cursors should be used only when required. | |
