DB2 - Problem description

INCORRECT RESULT CAN BE RETURNED FOR COLUMN-ORGANIZED TABLES

Problem description:
The problem occurs when selecting from a column-organized if the 
DB2 optimizer chooses a plan that includes an MSJN (merge-sort 
join) operator. The results might be that not all of the 
qualifying rows are returned.

Local Fix:
Execute the following and then recycle the DB2 instance: 
db2set DB2_REDUCED_OPTIMIZATION=NO_SORT_MGJOIN 
 
Note that with this workaround performance might be severely 
impacted.
Solution
The problem is first fixed in DB2 version 10.5.0.4.
