DB2 - Problem description

ISQL FAILS WITH ERROR SQL_HANDLE_HENV

Problem description:
If you have an instance-less client (IBM Data Server Drivers) on 
AIX,  you may get the following error during the connection 
attempt when using  ODBC driver manager : 
 
isq -v MYDB2 
[IM004][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Driver's SQLAllocHandle on 
SQL_HANDLE_HENV failed 
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect
