DB2 - Problem description

CONTROLCENTER DOES NOT SHOW THE PENDING VALUE FOR APPL_MEMORY AS AUTOMATIC

Problem description:
There is a difference between ControlCenter and CLP regarding 
APPL_MEMORY parameter. 
 
The repro steps using db2sampl(SAMPLE DB) is as follows: 
 
1. show database name SAMPLE on left window. 
2. select SAMPLE DB and click right mouse button and select 
Configure Parameters menu. 
 
The pending value for APPL_MEMORY shows not AUTOMATIC(10000) but 
10000. 
The CLP command "get db cfg" shows AUTOMATIC(10000).

Control Center shows the pending value as follows: 
 
keyword              value                            pending 
value 
 
APPL_MEMORY   AUTOMATIC(10016)    10000

The get db cfg show detail command shows as follows: 
Application Memory Size (4KB)             (APPL_MEMORY) =
