DB2 - Problem description

REORGCHK COMMAND HANGS

Reorgchk command could be hung on the v9.7 if the following 
message in the db2diag.log file.

Local Fix:
The stored procedure REORGCHK_TB_STATS and REORGCHK_IX_STATS can 
be used as a workaround
available fix packs:
DB2 Version 9.8 Fix Pack 3 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows
DB2 Version 9.8 Fix Pack 4 for AIX and Linux
DB2 Version 9.8 Fix Pack 5 for AIX and Linux

Solution
The APAR is fixed on the DB2 v9.8fixpak 3
Workaround
The stored procedure REORGCHK_TB_STATS and REORGCHK_IX_STATS can 
be used as a workaround
