| Problem description: |
When accessing a DB2 LUW server with the Connection Concentrator
enabled, a DB2 for zOS or iSeries client may experience an
intermittent hang condition or -998 error. |

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: *
* A DB2 for zOS or iSeries client may experience hangs or -998 *
* errors when accessing a DB2 LUW server that has the *
* Connection Concentrator Enabled. *

* A db2trc collected at the DB2 LUW Server will show that DB2 *
* is acting is as designed based upon the DRDA buffers *
* received. *

* A client-side trace or TCP/IP trace will show that the *
* buffers sent by the client do not align with the buffers *
* received by the Server. The *
* buffers may be incorrectly chained together, or received by *
* a different agent. *
