Assigning a session variable to a local variable may not be
effective.

SET rc= enter(); -- this SET my_session.value1 = 1;
SET in_value = my_session.value1;
...
IF (in_value = 0) THEN
COMMIT;
END IF;
--------------------
After above two SET statements, in_value is not assigned value
of 1. | |
