DB2PD WITH FULL DATABASE SCOPE OPTIONS ONLY DUMPS ANCHOR ID 0 FOR DYNAMIC SQL CACHE
| product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
| Problem description: | |
In version 9.7, the db2pd -dynamic command allows specification
of anchor ID
-dynamic [anch=<AnchId>] [file=<filename>]
Dynamic Cache
The default it to dump all information from the dynamic
statement cache, i.e. for all anchors. This works when
explicitly specifying -dynamic option, but when requesting all
database scope options ( -eve or -db <database> with no specific
option ), only the information for anchor 0 is returned, so
there is a lot of missing information. This is especially
important for FODC data collections for diagnosing more severe
DB2 problems. | |
