CONNECTING TO SPM DATABASE MAY RESULT IN SQL1042N

Problem description:
Connecting to a SPM database (set using SPM_NAME dbm cfg) may 
result in error -1042. 
 
The db2diag.log would contain following error:

Local Fix:

Solution
The problem is first fixed in DB2 Version 9.5 Fix Pack 9 and all 
subsequent Fix Packs.
