Starting with version 9.7 Fixpack 4, if the global registry file is missing (/var/db2/global.reg), db2start might hang. This was not seen in version 9.7 Fixpack 3 and before. The global registry file should be rebuilt in Fixpack 4 or above if the file is missing as was done in previous versions. | |
