DB2 ZOS V8 CLIENT REPORTS SQL0406 WHEN QUERYING BIGINT COLUMNS ON DB2 LUW

Problem description:
A DB2 zOS v8 client will receive a SQL0406 error when querying a 
table containing BIGINT columns on a DB2 LUW 10.1 or 9.7 server. 
The same DB2 zOS client can query a table with BIGINT columns on 
a DB2 LUW 9.5 server.
