DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2

Request the removal of GID limit, the range of 100 - 65535 
In version 10 (Galalieo), DB2 is enforced that GID is in the 
range of 100 - 65535 (64K). 
These is the problem for the customer, for example, group id of 
those customers that use active directory to authenticate 
and the customers have standarddized on a single global 
instance-owner and fenced account will have group id 
above that range.

Users Effected: 
This problem effects all users. 
 
Problem Description: 
REQUEST THE REMOVAL OF GID LIMIT, THE RANGE OF 100 - 65535.

Please use user group id that is within the range of 100 to 
65535

Upgrade to DB2 Version Version 10, FixPak 2.
