DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC88319 Status: Closed

DB2 may abend with a trap (prior to Version 9.7 Fix Pack 5) or OLAP query
may fail with SQL0901N (Version 9.7 Fix pack 5 or 6).

Problem description:
DB2 may abend due to a trap (prior to Version 9.7 Fix Pack 5) or 
query may fail with SQL0901N (Reason "Bad victimPageHeader ") 
(Version 9.7 Fix pack 5 or 6) if the following occurs: 
 
- DB2 is running with configuration where sort memory is 
constrained (and may also be throttled to minimum allowances) 
- we are running an OLAP query that processes large amounts of 
data,

In order to avoid constrained sort memory, ensure that the 
configuration (including applicable limits and memory resources) 
is sufficient and throttling is avoided.
