DB2 - Problem description

SQL0083C WHEN QUERYING TABLE SPACE CONTAINERS

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description:
There are cases when a table space does not have any containers 
defined, for example during a restore into a staging database. 
Querying the containers for such a table space will fail with 
SQL0083C, e.g.: 
 
$ db2 list tablespace containers for 3 
SQL0083C  A memory allocation error has occurred. 
 
The DB2 diagnostic log will contain messages similar to:
