DB2DSDRIVER.XSD NOT FOUND ON INSTANCE BASED CLIENTS
| product: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / A10 - DB2
| Problem description: | |
When issuing "db2cli -validate" on a DB2 'instance' based client on a Linux or Unix machine, it can fail because the db2dsdriver.xsd file may not be found. The db2dsdriver.xsd file should be located on the DB2 install directory (/opt/ibm/db2/V9.7/cfg), however "db2cli -validate" looks for the file in the /home/db2inst1/sqllib/cfg directory instead. This APAR will ensure that we look for the file in the proper directory so that we can properly validate the db2dsdriver.cfg file.
