DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC89631 Status: Closed

MEMORY LEAK IN APPL HEAP with intra-partition parallelism and plans choose
to rebalancing rows between SMP subagents (REBAL).

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description:
Application Heap consuming memory and causing out of memory
errors when instance is running with intra-partition parallelism
and plan chosen is rebalancing rows between SMP subagents (REBAL
will be seen in explain).

The problem is triggered by a memory leak in the rebalancer,
which can be identified with the following relevant lines of a
"db2pd -memb" output:
...
