A MERGE STATEMENT AGAINST AN ALIAS MAY CAUSE DB2 SERVER TO TERMINATE
ABNORMALLY

Problem description:
A MERGE statement may cause DB2 server to terminate abnormally.

Modify the target of the MERGE statement to be the base table 
instead of an alias.
