| Problem description: |
Application running under a Distributed Transaction Processing
environment such as MSDTC using direct XA support for a Sysplex
in non-Java clients may report SQL0998N or XAER_PROTO when a
server side license check is made by calling DB2LIC.SYSLIC.
If MSDTC is used as a Transaction Manager, application will
report:
SQL0998N Error occurred during transaction or heuristic
processing. Reason Code = "16". Subcode = "2-80004005".
