DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC96412 Status: Closed

THE FEDERATED SERVER DOES NOT SUPPORT USER-DEFINED TYPES, DISTINCT TYPES,
AND REFERENCE TYPES AS COLUMNS OF NICKNAMES.

Problem description:
The federated server does not support user-defined types, 
distinct types, and reference types as columns of nicknames. To 
create a nickname on a remote object that uses these types, you 
can create a remote view on the remote object. The remote view 
must use supported data types. Then create a nickname on that 
remote view.

Solution
Problem was fistly fixed in Version 10.1, FixPak 3. This 
fix should be applied on the federation Server.
