DB2INSTDEF may be set by default in non-Windows platforms during
instance creation.
Information Center says the variable is applicable to Windows
only, so the variable should be set by default in Windows only. |

| Local Fix: |
Unix/Linux users can safely ignore DB2INSTDEF registry variable.
The DB2INSTDEF settings can be removed by the following command
run by root:
# db2set -g DB2INSTDEF= |
