DB2 - Problem description

DB2PREREQCHECK GIVES WARNING "THE 32-BIT LIBRARY FILE LIBPAM.SO IS NOT
FOUND ON THE SYSTEM." WHEN LC_MESSAGE IS NOT "C"

Problem description:
The db2prereqcheck utility gives warning "The 32-bit library 
file libpam.so is not found on the system." even though 
libpam.so* exists on the system. This can happen when 
LC_MESSAGES is not "C". The db2setup and db2_install also get 
this warning message.

Local Fix:
Set LC_MESSAGES environment variable to "C". 
For example: 
env LC_MESSAGES=C ./db2prereqcheck
