DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2

Under rare circumstances DB2 optimizer may calculate invalid 
Filter Factor for range predicate(s). 
The invalid Filter Factor for the range predicate will be 
noticed in a query plan explain output (db2exfmt) as following: 
 
  Filter Factor:             -1.#IND 
 
Following are the conditions to hit this issue: 
 
- DB2 LUW running on Windows platform 
- string column (char or varchar) 
- quantile distribution statistics have been collected on the 
column 
- range predicate on the column
