XI/NOTIFY RESET USES CONNECTION ON DOWN PORT
| product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
| Problem description: | |
If a port on an RDMA card becomes unavailable (for example, a cable is removed), pureScale can potentially attempt to reuse connections established through that port. These connections are no longer valid, but each attempted use will result in a 15 second timeout before the connection is torn down, and a different connection in the cache is attempted. This apar fix will first check the status of the port before using a connection.
